Welcome to GEOPORN: This blog sets out to post a single mind blowing image once or twice a week along with an explanation of what’s going on behind it. It aims to keep things simple, minimal and thoroughly beautiful. Posts come from my own local area and travel interests, awesome stuff on my course and succinct explanations of things I’ve come across on the internet.

About me: I’m an undergrad student at Durham university studying Geology and Geography. I love the outdoors, climbing, cycling, caving and quirky bits of science.
